August 15 - 18 - Wide Sky Adventures

$3,300.00

Big Timber, Montana

Watch the horses and mules contentedly graze at Wide Sky Adventures while the sun dips behind snow-capped Crazy Mountains. Tuck into your sleeping bag, and drift off to sleep with the sound of whippoorwills swooping overhead and coyotes yipping in the distance. Wide Sky’s glamping experience provides an opportunity to get even closer to nature on a working family ranch that prioritizes land stewardship and conservation. Cell service is limited at camp but available if needed.

Group size: up to 10

Ages: 21+

CAMP THEME: Rekindling. Over time, in the demands of daily life and challenges that ensue, we can lose our spark. Our passions can become distant. Do we even feel connected anymore to the little girl inside us who loved horses, who dreamed of adventure, and who loved the outdoors? We invite you to rekindle your connection to her at Cowgirl Camp. The theme of rekindling will present itself throughout.

LODGING: individual teepee-style canvas tents with cots, pillows, a lantern, extra blanket, and rug provided (please bring your own sleeping bag). Camp includes a firepit area and covered dining tent, with an off-grid sink, lovely outhouse (seriously), and enclosed outdoor shower with great water pressure. If traveling with a sleeping bag is unduly difficult for you, please reach out and we may be able to help!

DIGITAL DETOX: We will ask you to put away your cell phone during camp! So many of us are yearning for separation from our devices, but without structure and encouragement it’s hard to do. While this is of course optional, camp culture and guidance will highly encourage you to ditch the phone at least during the day, but ideally until you tuck yourself into your tent for the night. We recommend bringing disposable cameras for your memories and to bring on your rides, to fully experience camp and being unplugged.

Per person: $3,300 all inclusive aside from travel. Pay at once or in 3 payments of $1150.

Four days, three nights. See our sample itinerary for a guide to our time together.

TRAVEL RECOMMENDATIONS: We recommend arriving into Bozeman the day before camp begins. You can meet up with other attendees, grab dinner together, and explore downtown. Some attendees even share a hotel or Airbnb! Arriving early allows you plenty of time in case of a flight delay, and also allows our retreat to start early on Day 1, around 10 am. The sooner we start, the sooner we get to the ranch, and the sooner we can begin our activities! We also recommend purchasing travel insurance (through a separate business). Please familiarize yourself with our cancelation policy. We also recommend you schedule your departing flight as late in the day on Day 4 as you can, or even on the day after camp ends, to maximize our time together. If you need a departure before 2 pm on Day 4, we can usually accommodate it. Just check in with us before you finalize flights!

INCLUDED: airport pickup & drop off, all meals, wide selection of snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, a gift bag on arrival, and all activities.

NOT INCLUDED: airfare/travel, snacks that you want to bring, alcoholic beverages, tips for our team if you feel they are merited
