Yes! Our horses are well trained and we will make sure you have an understanding of the basics before setting out. However, if you’ve never ridden a horse before we do encourage you to take a couple riding lessons before coming out. This will greatly bolster your confidence and you’ll get more out of the experience!
-
If preferred, you can pay for you camp in three installments. However, if you do not pay the installments on time, you will lose your spot and your deposit.
-
Sorry, no outside horses.
-
Your payment includes a $500 nonrefundable deposit. If you need to cancel earlier than 3 months before Day 1 of your camp, we refund your payment in full minus the deposit. If you cancel within 3 months of your camp, payment is nonrefundable. We recommend trip insurance. However, if a conflict comes up we are sometimes able to switch you to a different weekend. Just reach out to us with as much notice as possible and we will do our best to find a solution for you!

All inclusive pricing means we cover everything from the moment we pick you up at the airport to when we drop you off: food, transportation, lodging, activities and Cowgirl Camp swag. The only exception is if you choose to do any extra shopping, buy alcohol, or do exploring while you are here separate from the group.
-
Yes you can! Make sure that you both apply for the SAME camps in our application process.
If you’d like to attend with a larger group of friends or family, please contact us about custom camps.
-
In the past, we have gotten many more applications than we have room for. And so we recommend applying for ALL the camps you can attend. You ARE able to rank them if you have a preference.

Cowgirl Camp offers a warm welcome to women from far and wide, and from all backgrounds and riding abilities. Camp culture is friendly and warm. We are a-political and believe it’s not our place to convince anyone of anything; we are there to learn from one another and celebrate what we have in common. Values > talking points and hot takes.
