WHAT IS COWGIRL CAMP?

Founded out of a desire to share an authentic ranching experience with newcomers, Cowgirl Camp is no ordinary dude ranch. We invite you to real working ranches hosted by real working cowgirls for a women’s retreat like no other. You’ll ride, learn, and adventure with us during a long weekend that invites you to get back to your roots, celebrates the West’s rugged working landscapes, and shares a peek under the hood of what it means to make a life on them.

who cowgirl camp is for:

Cowgirl Camp is designed for horse loving women 21+ who desire to reconnect to their inner grit, learn new skills, and above all, build community. Are you an outdoor enthusiast who is excited to put down her phone and get away from it all? Someone who enjoys heartfelt conversation, appreciates the importance of vulnerability, and is ready to connect with women from all walks of life? Do you yearn to spend time with horses in a supportive, structured environment? Cowgirl Camp is for you.

In order to facilitate the best retreat for all, attendance is application based. You're welcome to apply with a friend, but we very much encourage applying solo (most people do!).

tenderfoots welcome!

We are geared toward all riding abilities but primarily beginner and intermediate riders. Advanced riders are welcome, but please know we will cover a lot of safety and take our time getting everyone comfortable before heading out on our rides. While we are beginner friendly, be ready to leave your comfort zone because where we ride there are few trails! We encourage you to take a few riding lessons ahead of time if you’ve never sat atop a steed. Please note we do have physical requirements to ride detailed under the ‘learn more’ tab.
